Give
Generosity is an act of trust — in God, in community, and in something worth building.
Why We Give
Giving at Anchor isn't a transaction — it's a posture. It's the practice of holding loosely to what we have and trusting that what we release can do more than what we keep. As Paul writes in 2 Corinthians 9:7, "Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver." That word — cheerful — matters. Generosity isn't guilt. It's freedom.
Ethan and Mia planted Anchor in Portland in 2019 with a conviction that this city needs places where people can find real belonging — in Jesus, in each other, and in a neighborhood worth caring about. Every dollar given here goes toward making that possible: Sunday gatherings, community groups, pastoral care, and the slow, meaningful work of being a church that's genuinely present in Southeast Portland.
We believe faithful stewardship means being honest about where the money goes and why it matters. When you give to Anchor, you're not funding a program — you're participating in a mission. We're grateful for every person who makes that choice.
Three Simple Ways to Give
Give Online
The simplest way to give is through Anchor's online giving page — accessible anytime, from anywhere. Head to our giving portal to make a contribution and support what God is doing here in Portland. It only takes a few minutes.
Give on Sunday
Offering baskets are passed during every Sunday gathering at both the 10:00 AM and 5:00 PM services. Giving envelopes are available at the Welcome Center, and our ushers are always happy to help if you have questions.
Give by Mail
You're welcome to mail a check made payable to Anchor Church to our address: 2204 SE Division Street, Portland, OR 97202. Giving receipts are sent for tax purposes so you'll have everything you need at year's end.
Your Generosity Changes Things
Every gift — large or small — is part of how Anchor continues to be a place where people find what they're looking for. We're grateful you're here.
